Associate Professor Sujith Seneviratne (Sene) is an Interventional Cardiologist and a specialist in Cardiac CT.
Sene graduated from University of Melbourne and has undertaken fellowships in both Coronary Angioplasty (Monash Medical Centre) and Cardiac CT (Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard medical school, Boston, USA). He is a member of senior staff at Southern Health and practices as an Interventional Cardiologist and as the Director of Cardiac CT services at MonashHeart. Sene is a recipient of National Heart Foundation (NZ) fellowship and is considered a leader in Cardiac CT both nationally and internationally. He has published and presented extensively in this field. Sene is the Victorian representative of Society of Cardiovascular CT in Australia.
His areas of special interest include investigating and managing chest pain and exertional dyspnoea using non-invasive (Cardiac CT) and invasive strategies, coronary angioplasty including chronic total occlusions and FFR guided interventions as well as preventative cardiology and risk assessment using Cardiac CT and calcium score.
Sene is an avid cricket fan and enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
