Dr Jefferson Ko is a general cardiologist based in Melbourne, currently completing a Non-Invasive Imaging Fellowship at the Victorian Heart Hospital gaining expertise in transthoracic echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, and CT coronary angiography. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with First Class Honours at Monash University in 2018. Having undertaken his Basic Physician Training through Austin Health where he was recognised as the Top FRACP Clinical Candidate, he then completed his Cardiology Advanced Training at the Victorian Heart Hospital, Bendigo Health and Peninsula Health. Dr Ko consults across the full breadth of general cardiology and has a passion for patient education to allow his patients to make informed decisions, as well as medical education, having been involved in developing and implementing educational curriculae for medical students, junior doctors and Cardiology trainees.
