Dr. Benjamin Thomas is general cardiologist and cardiac imaging specialist.
He graduated from James Cook University in 2015. He completed his advanced training in cardiology at the Prince Charles and Townsville University Hospitals in Queensland. He went onto complete a non-invasive cardiac imaging fellowship at the Victorian Heart Hospital, specializing in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography and Cardiac CT. He is currently undertaking a cardiac MRI fellowship at the Victorian Heart Hospital, which is expected to be completed in early 2027.
He is interested in all aspects of cardiology including cardiovascular risk assessments, management of heart failure, valvular heart disease and coronary artery disease.
Outside of work, he enjoys running, cooking and spending time with his young family.
